英語(yǔ)翻譯技巧：

第一、省略翻譯法

這與最開(kāi)始提到的增譯法相反，就是要求你把不符合漢語(yǔ)，或者英語(yǔ)的表達(dá)的方式、思維的習(xí)慣或者語(yǔ)言的習(xí)慣的部分刪去，以免使所翻譯出的句子沉雜累贅。

第二、合并法

合并翻譯法就是把多個(gè)短句子或者簡(jiǎn)單句合并到一起，形成一個(gè)復(fù)合句或者說(shuō)復(fù)雜句，多出現(xiàn)在漢譯英的題目里出現(xiàn)，比如最后會(huì)翻譯成定語(yǔ)從句、狀語(yǔ)從句、賓語(yǔ)從句等等。

family的用法：

family的意思是“家庭”,指“家庭全體成員”時(shí),為集合名詞,作主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞要用復(fù)數(shù)形式。作為“家庭整體”看待時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞要用單數(shù)形式。謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞無(wú)論是單數(shù)形式還是復(fù)數(shù)形式, family都應(yīng)該用復(fù)數(shù)代詞指代。

family有時(shí)可作“子女,孩子”解,此時(shí)不含父母,是單數(shù)名詞,但可與不定冠詞a或an連用。

family作先行詞時(shí),其關(guān)系代詞可用who,也可用which。如表示家庭成員,則一般用who;如表示家庭整體,則一般用which。
